good to know. I've only ever seen it the first time i ran AV when I got it. And i have no memory of where it was.

Iirc it is in the small tunnel between the first morbol room and the room before coincounter.
You can miss it if you just run straight away because it is on the far right side of the tunnel and most people ignore it just because it "only" drops potions and ethers with a low percentage for the minion.

I found the minion chest today. It's in a bit of an alcove so you don't see it as you're coming up the tunnel until you're quite close to it.
