So what you're saying is we need Aurum Vale (Hard) where the air is poisonous and you get a stacking poison effect the longer you stay in there?

Zexy, aren't you a mentor? Someone was likely new to that dungeon, and needed it for their story. That crown means you should be helping, not leaving because it's "not your cup of tea".
IDK why everybody hates this dungeon. I actually enjoy it. If you die in here, then your tank needs to learn how to individually pull groups. It's one of the easier dungeons for me.

Wow. You quit out and have a person's roulette fall apart right as soon as the dungeon starts and come to the forums like you're the victim for the big, bad dungeon popping being Aurum. No wonder I don't miss this game when I don't log in for a while.
why are you on the forums then? I don't want to give you a reason to stop playing we need you, our game needs you. Anyone who has been playing for over a year and not burned out is a special player. Special players need to find reasons to stay in game and keep the faith. It was 10:00 at nite and I work at 6:am and I wanted to do one last roulette, Leveling so I qued and Aurum Vale came up and I got instantly depressed. I don't wanna sleep with images of giant frogs with tongues sticking out bad music and in a random pug group. The thought sent shivers throughout my spine and I cringed at the thought. Any other dungeon and I would have played but this one is ughhhhhhhh .... forgive me and play don't let my one slip up stop you, Zexy.

Aurum Vale is what I like to call "The wake up dungeon" since Stone Vigil and Dzemeal Darkhole have become facerolls.
Aurum Vale isn't hard in any sense. The only difficulty in it comes from people having such a brain dead time with everything before. In my opinion Aurum Vale is, still to this day, the best designed dungeon in XIV. It makes you look at everything you have, your environment, and elementary mechanics. It reinforces concepts laid down in the novice hall quests and takes them the needed step forward.
If you struggle with this dungeon, I recommend you think about where you had trouble, then think about why, and finally how to apply your tools to that problem. Also practice. This game can be brain dead to play sometimes, but there's still things that can catch you off guard if you don't pay attention.
To be honest, I kinda dislike players who do that thing. I see it most often in Aurum Vale, Pharos Sirius, and Royal Menagerie. I have blacklisted players who do that kind of crap. Yes, the dungeon is harder than usual. But why do you want faceroll dungeons all the time? Don't queue for leveling roulette and waste other players' time if that's what you're gonna do. The dungeon isn't hard, you just can't rush it and you shouldn't be going around attempting to kill everything.

Gracious. Someone needs to get out a little more in real life if they feel the need to post nonsense of the forums all the time. Find a real friend to give you some attention.
On Topic:
I actually really like AV. :c But then, as a healer main, I've never been an assbutt to leave random DPS over a dungeon or raid I don't like. I'll even encourage them to keep going while I help out and get another tank in the group if needed.
It's not hard it's just boring. My worst nightmare is sometimes a group wants to clear EVERYTHING I don't mind but damn it takes forever to finish when it's a full clear ×_X
