The tales of the DF thread is just as much anecdotal, and nowhere near representative of all the dungeons done. For every bad run, there's easily 20 dungeons or more that go off without a hitch. People don't make threads that often saying "Tales from Duty Finder: My dungeon went ok" because it's a lot more fun to gripe and feel superior to others. We have maybe 800k active players, and people run hundreds if not thousands of instances per day. It's just the bad is more memorable than the good.

Peopel are focusing on ex-level content and the inability of players to want to do it or do it well, and projecting it out to the whole base. People do fine in casual content. The issue is that some players want people to want to do or to be better at raids.

Players should address this honestly instead of complaining about something that doesn't exist to the frequency they think it does in game. Raising the difficulty curve isn't really going to do much if the end result of most players is expert and the 24 man; it just makes those things a little more annoying and will increase wipes rather than fix them.
