Seriously !!?? the dying system is still a crafting process, why can't it just be like melding materia.

It's kind of lame we still require an additional item (undyed cloth etc) as well as the dye, why does everything SE come up with have to be slow and painful.

From the sounds of it, it DOES sound as simple as melding materia.

probably they want to but since the old server system is full on crap they can't make too much adjustments, or takes way too much time to implement that type of system so this is first solution and they may update later.

You still have to select craft, so no you learn to read, yes it may go to 100% but you still have to select the button, dur
