I find it a problem too, that players purchased a house (any size), get two buddies to start an FC, just to turn their house into an FC for the benefits it offers. This should not be happening. This is another loop hole that needs to be closed.

You want a workshop, and house buffs, then you should join an FC. Not occupy a large mansion with only 3 players, if that, just to take up desirable, good FC housing.

On my server the majority of mansions are bought by private owners and I see them with no activity from month to month, only to occupy it long enough so that they don't get evicted.

The housing situation is a mess, for sure. SE should have seen this coming. They should have had a residential are just for FC housing and not mix it in with privately own properties.

That's not a loophole though. A FC is a FC regardless of size. SE can't police whenever X FC only have 5 members vs 50, whom of these two FC are allowed to buy a house.

You may not be fine with it but where do you draw the line?

Go to a vendor for the neighborhood you want and purchase a voucher for a home in that area, offered in S, M, or L. Once enough vouchers for a full ward are purchased those first 36 players will have a new ward opened for them to pick the house they want (size pending).

The next set of 36 will spawn creation of the next ward, therefore eliminating the empty wards open to gold farmers. Limit the housing vouchers to 1 FC and 1 Personal house per server. If you really wanna grind up from scratch across all servers, you should be allowed to have something to show for it.


I'm not a fan of players losing houses obtained legitimately. I'm just honestly tired, as someone playing since V1 beta, of no chance to buy a house. I was stuck on Balmung, only able to free-transfer off to Coeurl, but it was too late. I wasn't able to log in during the 10 minutes housing was open. I want the opportunity, for me, and the FC I'm leading.

This is a interesting concept. Would we be assigned a L (in case you buy a L plot voucher) or would you have rush like today to buy the house of my choosing?
