well, i finally got to the end.

@Sinitzor, i do like your random relinquish timer on the houses. lapsed and fortified houses have a random time on when they become available again. But in my opinion i don't agree with the "i have an account that allows me to have multiple characters, each as as much of a right to a house as your 1 character." mostly because i have had a completely different personal experience with housing than yourself. Having a complete different experience than you has driven me to have a different view point. I also have multiple alts each one with millions of gil, but none of them has a house, just none are available on my server. when Shirogane launched my sob story just resounds those of a 1,000 times over again. my launcher crashed multiple times and after 15 min of trying i got put in a que 1,300 people long and when i finally logged in every single plot in every single district in every single ward was gone. It wasn't because i didn't have the money for a house, or because i didn't try hard enough, i was just unlucky.

so when someone like myself sees someone with multiple houses across multiple characters, it just makes us feel cheated where i can't have 1 because you want 8. I get that people that own multiple houses across multiple characters has done nothing wrong as well, but when the same people use the argument of "i was here first" it just infuriates me. To someone like me you sound like Marie Antoinette saying "let them eat cake" where you just sound out of touch with the plight of Eorzea's homeless.

I understand theres no houses on your server and as you said you have read the post so you know for a year + i stared at 200+ empy houses.What irratates me is for a year no one batted a eye till they got free transfers.. people saying ive tried for 3 years to get a house. well housing wasnt your top prioty cause there was tons of servers with empty plots all you had to do it pay to transfer. yes you leave friends or fc but you get your house or houses, no you shouldnt have to transfer but IT was a option and you would of got a house.my server for example you could of got a med for 8 mil.

my whole arguement is we followed the rules it clearly states in housing rules (ive post the patch notes with the rules as u seen) every character who meets the requirements can buy a house, its not a loophole or a exploit. my account says i have 8 characters not 1 character and 7 alts. Since we broke no rules i cant stand the pitch fork weilding take there homes away cause were on the server now and want them. If they change the rules so be it but in no way is it fair to take homes away from people who broke n rules just cause you moved in.

The rage needs to be aimed at SE if your gonna keep this ward system then supply enough homes for all characters simple enough. Stop making excusses for them they get our money put it to use buy more servers or what ever you need. The amount of welll SE cant do it .............BS......... they have the money and other games make sure they have enough housing.the rage needs to be pointed at them and off the few who broke no rules

Go to a vendor for the neighborhood you want and purchase a voucher for a home in that area, offered in S, M, or L. Once enough vouchers for a full ward are purchased those first 36 players will have a new ward opened for them to pick the house they want (size pending).

The next set of 36 will spawn creation of the next ward, therefore eliminating the empty wards open to gold farmers. Limit the housing vouchers to 1 FC and 1 Personal house per server. If you really wanna grind up from scratch across all servers, you should be allowed to have something to show for it.

I'm not a fan of players losing houses obtained legitimately. I'm just honestly tired, as someone playing since V1 beta, of no chance to buy a house. I was stuck on Balmung, only able to free-transfer off to Coeurl, but it was too late. I wasn't able to log in during the 10 minutes housing was open. I want the opportunity, for me, and the FC I'm leading.

This is what i cant wrap my head around......how were you stuck? I started two years ago and was able to transfer off my old server by paying $18. The option to move has been there .
