yes you do need it more so if you are messing up your group I am not fond if the "i don't need it" attitude it comes off as lazy.

If i was on levi, i most definitely would make you gear. I am a crafter and i do make gear for people. Hell come to goblin and join the fc my g.f runs. I can make all the gear you need on my days off.

I can even help with melds if you choose to meld the gear.

This is what this thread is for lmao. Though not in the way you want them to where you'd only get Sastasha. The leveling roulette is meant to help move queues along, and we won't be helping any of that if we'll limit you to the first three dungeons. Not to mention that sort of thing awards lazy behavior when it's ridiculously easy to get proper on-level gear these days.

Used to level my alt only using 50/60 and MSQ roulettes because he was 57 but with level 50 gear. Then I got all my upgraded level 60 gear through poetics and wanted to power through onward so I made myself the 56 set because it's a healer chara and no way in hell am I queueing for leveling which can net me in the Vault with ilvl 129. Because I want to perform to the best of my abilities when I play, it won't be fun for me otherwise, and the poor people who'll be stuck with me have done no wrong that I am aware of to deserve it.

That's like saying you're not using any of your level 62-68 abilities in Doma Castle because you don't know how to and can't be bothered to find out.

That doesn't even compare to what is being asked, which is to carry an EXTRA 180 pieces of gear (12 slots x 3 additional tiers x 5 roles).

Its not unreasonable to expect you to appropriately gear the job you are playing as. I have leveled every combat based job in this game. Its not hard. Additionally much of the gear is interchangeable excluding the weapon so your assumption on gear purchase is extremely exaggerated. Unless you are new to the game and its your very first job you are leveling being 10+ levels behind on gear really does boil down to laziness on the part of the player with no regard for the inconvenience they are causing to the people they are matched with in DF. Even then when I first started playing I always made sure my gear was up to date on my first job to 50 and was never strained on gil doing so.

That’s a gross exaggeration of how much gear you would actually need. If you’re not currently leveling a job, store the gear in your retainers—especially easy to do if you just have the two free retainers, and you don’t craft/gather. If you are max level on a specific role (tanks, healers, melee DPS, ranged DPS, casters), then why would you be carrying leveling gear around for them? Get rid of it, or store the pieces you want to keep for glamour in your retainers. As it stands, the armory chest has been expanded in such a way that you can have different sets of gear for each job easily—one set of gear for each of the jobs—and still have space left over.

While there are still inventory constraints in this game, they’re not extreme enough to use it as an excuse to enter duties with poor gear.

This is what I do already. When I level my RDM to 70, I intend to hold onto the 60 (i260) gear for casters as well as the 50 (i110). But when I level a summoner. I'm not going to have the 53-57 nor the 63-67 gear. Same thing with a Tank or Healer role. Who the hell carries, even on their retainers, full sets of 53, 55, and 57 gear or their 60-70 counterparts. NONE of you do that. And I'm not going to specific queue a dungeon for 5-7 runs just because of a 'chance' of getting a higher ilevel dungeon.

No, I'm going to do what most do, go straight to 70 and use the gear waiting. I'm fine with the roulette not putting me in dungeons my gear cannot do. If a dungeon has a ilevel requirement, it simply needs to be Enforced in roulettes. Try it. Try queuing for those dungeons directly without having the proper gear. It won't let you. Roulette need to be the same.

Unless you all can give me a good reason why a tank with ilevel 110 should be allowed in a 55+ dungeon. I don't think you can. I don't think they should. Whether its me or someone else.
