Personal wishlist of DRK changes before/at patch 4.2

Can you think of any better ideas for that don't involve more unnecessary nerfs to already existing classes? Like asking for buffs to the classes that you listed to get similar buffs?

A lot of what you’re asking for would make a TANK more powerful than the existing DPS jobs in this game. The answer to fixing the problems DRK currently has is NOT to buff the job into the sun. Adjustments need to be made on a far smaller scale. While this may be a personal wishlist of yours, it’s completely unrealistic. Even if the developers were to start considering the hefty amount of feedback concerning DRK, they would never incorporate the majority of the changes you have suggested in the opening post.

The only changes I can get behind are your requests to change Dark Mind to physical damage as well, and to, for the love of all that is holy, fix Dark Passenger so I can actually put the skill back on my hotbar.

Yes I am serious, yes it is overpowered, yes I want other jobs to get buffs to their utility as well(looking at you, AST Sects...) and no I couldn't even clear O4S dummy as DRK and didn't want to try with other tanks because of DRK... I pretty much gave up on tanking after failing to clear that dummy after being several ilvls higher and STILL FAILED....(no I was not using Grit on the dummy since it made for DPS only)

You might as well just ask for DRK to be a DPS role with all those items on your wish-list. But you do you.

Also here was no sarcasm it's just I can't have more than 1 main class showing in the thing(I also have PLD, RDM, SAM capped so yeah...)

Your “buffs” are way too much. For any role. DRK is a tank; it does not need to be stronger than the DPS jobs.

I didn't say all of them in during 4.2 but though I did imply that without thinking so my bad on that... also not sure if anyone did the math for those buffs and how much DPS they would doing, but if they are doing more DPS than SAM then yeah might need to tone down on buffs...

Nah was just confused since O4S dummy can be cleared with DRK. That is why I was wondering if maybe there was another O4S dummy. DRK DPS is lower when compared to the other tanks, but not low enough to the point were it is unable to clear 04S dummy. That is why I thought it was sarcasm or hyperbole.

So are you asking for insane buffs because your were unable to clear the O4S dummy as a DRK? Or did I just fall for a troll post? Hella confused at the moment.

well full ilvl320 maybe with the exception of 1 accessory(why are we only allowed 1 unique/untradeable ring) and have Susan'o weapon if that helps...

Keep in mind that Dark Knight dummy HP is lower than most other classes, including both tanks. I don't know if this trend continues for O4S as I haven't tested it, but from the dummies I tested the dummy had the second lowest HP in the game, just above Astrologian.
