For DRK's AOE ability SE could introduce a new toggle ability that changes a small portion of them from AOE to Single target while improving their potency. This would help with encounters in which there is only 1 target on the field at any given time.
For Blackest Night improve it where "Dark Arts" make it an AOE that absorbs 10% of all dmg taken for everyone however 10 seconds later that dmg is dealt back to the DRK minus their own blocked dmg.
So while stronger than WAR's shield and also a lower cooldown the feedback of dmg dealt on DRK would be the risk behind using this ability. Granted it might be easy to counter but I feel it fits the DRK role.
If you don't like it then post your own separate thread as this IS MY PERSONAL WISHLIST for DRK changes...With the state of DRK right now it really does pain me to say that any suggestions would be OP, but this isn't just OP, its bordering on a joke thread. Are you actually serious? Do you really need to even be told why these changes are bad? This would put DRK's DPS statistically closer to BRD than WAR.
All due respect, but this actually hurts our cause more than it helps it. Try to actually think about the buffs you are suggesting so that the community and SE will take us seriously and we can see real fixes. This just makes us look bad. If I could wave a wand and delete this thread, I seriously would. It shoots the credibility of other DRKs requesting (reasonable) buffs and fixes to the job in the foot.
Can we get some better MP, less MP costs for our abilities? I really feel like our resources are constantly drained where every other job in the game has resources for days

what if DRK gets to be the melee where every attack in their combo is aoe? i mean they have giant sword. on raid/bosses make every melee attack strikes twice, maybe reduced potency for 2nd strike so something like a stronger more relevant sword oath
That would probably a 5.0 ability/trait for Blood Weapon and would probably have effects of DRK Cecil in the new Dissidia game which is SO COOL!!!

- Blood Price alone puts Equilibrium to shame. That allows a WHM to gain an additional 3,000 HP on a baseline Cure II... for 15 seconds. That equates to roughly 17,000 healing every 25 seconds. Equilibrium doesn't heal for that much and it's on a 60 second cooldown.
- Sole Survivor is flat out better than blood Trick Attack. It's a fucking AoE Trick Attack for 30 seconds I don't even have to say how insanely OP that is.
- The Blackest Night... a 30 second 20% Shield? Good job putting Vengeance and Sheltron to utter shame.
At this point, the new comp would include all three tanks, with Bard or Machinist benched for Dark Knight. Hell, you might want two Dark Knights regardless.

90% of the idea you make is cleary over powered, you can't be serious with something like this.
But look now, Drk need a little more Dps, a little moremitigation, a little more of everything that can make him as good as the other 2 tanks on party utility.
So I'm thinking about a little upgrade of every attack of Drk from 10 to 20 potency in the first time.
Make dark passenger cost less mana, but instead of blind effect, a reduced damage effect, so the synergy with blood price can be better. Also upgrade is base damage to 170.
Make sole survivor an debuff on target that cumulate a part of the damage done to the Drk and then explode on the boss (like a counter attack) after the timer is out, the damage can't exceed 50% of the DRK's max hp, if the target dies before the explosion restore 20% hp/mana. Increase CD to 150sec, duration 10 seconds.
Make a wide range effect with Dark art for Blackest night. Protect everyone with a 5% DRK's max hp shield (this will make approximately 2500 to 2700), if shield explode, restore 10 blood (max 80 blood) and 480 mp.
Make shadow wall give a 35% damage reduction with a 120sec CD. This will be more fair, cause War counter with vengeance, but Drk don't.
Make dark mind effective on physical damage on base line, Erase the DA effect.
Make Plunge give more aggro.
Make Undead an invincibility CD like Holm gang duration 6sec, when an attack should kill you, you gain 5 blood and the debuff undead, that let you gain 5 blood par hit you take for 10 seconds. CD 300 sec.
(I know the next suggestion will not be appreciated by the elitist community who don't even care of what a tank mean)
This suggestions is for the 3 tanks at once. Make the Dps posture of every tank classe, generate - 50% aggro. Dark side aggro debuff is not effective if grit is activated.
So like this, tank won't have any other choice than use the tank posture that Naoki Yoshida is looking for.

Yes I am serious, yes it is overpowered, yes I want other jobs to get buffs to their utility as well(looking at you, AST Sects...) and no I couldn't even clear O4S dummy as DRK and didn't want to try with other tanks because of DRK... I pretty much gave up on tanking after failing to clear that dummy after being several ilvls higher and STILL FAILED....(no I was not using Grit on the dummy since it made for DPS only)
