However I want to dispel the notion of what tanks and groups should do before the start of the dungeon.

Which is check gear of said players and group make up and adjust according.

I am very so sorry to inform you that I have played this game since Alpha of ARR and not 1 tank or healer I have ever come across has ever changed play style upon group or tank gear or make up.

It's is simply false and you know it

People just run forward and start killing things.

It's not to be unexpected. It's duty roulette. it's a group of random strangers you are never going to see again in a dungeon you've done over 100 times.

sorry if you want to start talking about what actually happens in game I will be more than happy to continue conversing with you. However if you want to pretend that people consider varying factors. I will just remain silent. Either way is fine by me
