Well that's the thing, now isn't it. If we are to take Producer/Director Yoshida at his word, he plans on eventually making ALL dungeons instanced and cross-world. IF that is the case, how would my LS be able to access that content without using the cross-world queue?

Because 4-5 servers will be part of a cluster and the dungeon will exist as part of that cluster so no matter which server you are on you will go to the same place, all be it a different version of the same place.
You can make a party and walk into an instance and be transported to that place or go to the dungeon finder and everyone within that party will be transported to the same place.

Is that how current dungeon finders work in MMOs? If me and my friend decide to take on a high level dungeon we can just walk in, no questions asked, and complete the content?
No sarcasm, I'm asking an honest question.
i don't know where you are getting your info. but this directly conflicts with free companys, why make it possible to make party's that have their own banner and house, and allow them to use primals. if you are going to block them from working together. and also there is crystal tower, which will be a visible landmark on the landscape, why have this if you can't get to it?. just because dungeons are made instanced don'ty mean they have to solely cross world. as i said the system would add options. it would be madness to take them away
What I have shown you is reality. What you remember, that is the illusion.
