I might as well just quote what i was going to post. I don't think it could be a bad thing unless drops are the main topic at hand, but cross-world or not, drops will always be an issue. Making dungeons cross-server will just make it easier to do as many runs as you'd like.
Whatever will be, will be

the old post from some where yoshida had mention the reason to implement cross-world party is for ppl who join the game later at 2.0 will still be able to search for party and this is the main reason but that doesn't mean the end game player dont have problem with find party.
Your "mmorpg instinct" telling me you re lack of exp in mmorpg

Oh another thread about this !

I would be happy to resurrect the original (or any previous thread) on this topic since the 2.0 information was released by Producer/Director Yoshida. Unfortunately, I did not find any during the course of my search. If you have a link to such a thread I would be grateful.
I don't see the downside.
Casual players can get parties.
Players with active LS can go with their LS.
What seems to be the issue? Allowing people easier access to a dungeon isn't restricting anyone from forming a party the old fashioned way.
