You repeatedly keep saying "I PAID TO TRANSFER UNLIKE OTHERS WHO GOT A FREE RIDE SO I DESERVE ALL MY HOUSES!" You constantly use your irl extra payments as a form of elevating yourself above other players. That is worse than name calling because you constantly try to prove you should get special treatment because of more irl money. You have repeatedly put down players who used free transfers by consistently saying their free ride makes them less deserving of a house. It's classic elitism. That insult I threw at you is well earned.

i never once ask for more rights for anything... All ive said is people who broke o rules shouldn't be punish.. weither you think the rules or fair or not the rules state you can buy more then one.. I broke no rules..i've never flipped a house or a fc. ive never bought gil.. i earned my money crafting and followed the rules leveling up and leveling my gc..not your rules or what you think the rules should be but the rules SE put in front of me. its not my fault your server dosen't have enough houses or you didn't go to a server before the free transfers when 100's of homes were empty..

Greed is taking away from some one who has something you want just cause you didn't get it..theres been years of chances for people to transfer to get homes that were open

the greedy players would not cause too much trouble in the grand scheme of things. Unfortunately, here we are.

The grand scheme of things is that there's simply not enough houses even with people who have multiple houses. There's not enough. I'd hardly even call it a 'dent' if they put a hard limit on how many an account could own. The wards need to be done away with and everyone needs their own instanced homes.

Don't forget that people with more than 1 char per server literally do pay more to play than people with 1 char per server. Their subscription is priced higher already. No server moving necessary, they already pay more than others do just to access alts.


Why SHOULDN'T each individual character have their own house? If it's something they advertise on their website to draw in new players, why shouldn't each and every character (alt or not) have their own home? SE made this artificial scarcity, so don't get mad at the players or bash players for it. Bash SE for it. Using all these IRL analogies like water bottles for employees? What? Housing isn't something nice they decided to 'give' to us for fun, it's a faucet of the game that THOUSANDS can't enjoy. Whether or not they apply a limit, they already set hurdles in place. This is an internet house in a game we all pay to play, we should all have an internet house. All of us. New players, veteran players, alts, we should all have access to housing. They make so much money off of our subs and the cash shop there's just no reason for the shortage.

Why SHOULDN'T each individual character have their own house?

Well if you look a few posts before you'll see Yoshi himself talked about a change to the system to discourage this.

Yes it would be nice if we could have a home for every character but there isn't even enough for every player. As long as we have extremely limited supply of housing, then the amount of houses a player can have in a single server should also be limited to reflect this.

Don't get me wrong. I hate this system. I despise it so much and the lack of foresight that went into it is so amazingly terrible it bounces between being hilarious and downright frustrating. But despite being proven several times for many years that it just isn't working, SE seem determined to hang to it anyway. So the most realistic improvements we can hope for are adjustments to it. Not something as ideal as enough housing to the point of excess for everyone.

Especially considering that we know we will be getting more wards in 4.2. No way is there going to be something huge and amazing to replace the ward system at that point because there simply isn't enough time, unless it's been in the works for a very long time and somehow zero about it got leaked.

Hoping for the best, but expecting not much of anything : /

I have paid the sub to allow for alts without pause for over two years and I don't consider myself to have anymore rights to anything than a sprout paying for just one character per server. Certainly not extra houses when there are so few already. The only veteran rewards should be those that SE hand out themselves into our mail boxes.
