Personally, I really enjoyed the level 65 RDM quest. It was like rerunning a small portion of the Great Gubal Library with X'rhun Tia. So it was literally like running a dungeon "solo" or miniaturized. You still had to put some work in, there were some mechanics, but it was doable without too much trouble. And this is coming from someone with an old, crappy graphics card so I lag a good half to 3/4 seconds behind other people on certain mechanics because certain effects are rendered in such a way that they show up for me slowly. The hell I went through on some of the story quests (That damn mist in the Kugane steam baths drops my fps to almost nothing, I literally had to do that quest that requires you to run across the city to the Garlean consulate some 2 dozen times trying to figure out what settings would allow me to get there in time because I was slowed down by the steam) because of weird little mechanics like this, losing randomly because lose conditions were never shown and you all the sudden lose despite not dying, or laggy things showing up has had me nearly put the game down for a couple days a few different times.
I haven't tried this quest yet, because I want to do it on my RDM and that won't hit 70 until later tonight, but it seems like another one that I'm going to have some frustration with, depending on how flashy the scene is. Granted, I always power through them eventually. Looking up videos on how people did it almost never helps me-- What would in these situations is a "Defeat [obvious bad guy]! Don't let [random NPC with you]/Any allies die!" showing as a condition. Or, in this case apparently, "Deflect any orbs before they touch an ally!" or some such. Maybe it does that this time, but I know traditionally it doesn't, and frankly, I'm not paying attention to NPC popup dialogue in these duties because I don't really have time to stop and read a random line of text with conal AoE's aimed at me.
