Locked out of future MSQ progression?

How many times do I have to fail Return of the Bull before we stop with the useless Echo & allow someone else in the duty with me? Because honestly, I do not have the reaction times to take out those light bubbles & win this. Ever.

There are solo gates in the game, which look a bit out of context for a group based mmorpg.

I think that you should be allowed to bring in another player if you're struggling.
This would be entirely down to the individual, and I agree that a solo event should not be the block to progress in an mmo.

Think about it this way - how many times do you clear new group content on the first attempt? Without watching a guide? It's not unthinkable, but it's also not uncommon that you wipe a couple of times, right? There's a learning curve for all content. I think the problem stems from this assumption that if it's solo-content, you have to beat it on the first try with your hand behind your back or something.

It's a video game. This is normal behavior for a video game.

You tackle different fights and sometimes you gotta reload your save and try again. Best get used to it.

MMO's don't have a game shark for you to use so the only thing you can do is keep trying.

The action you use to dispell aether balls can hit multiple balls so long as they are close enough togather. Also the NPC (cant remember his name) who is there with also dispells them though not as fast as you can. When tackling the aether balls stay between the balls and the ally Npc's, always try too get them when they are clustered. Most importantly aim for the aether balls or clusters that will reach their target first. The fight does get hairy at some points but it is very passable just keep at it you will get it.

I do wish we could team up for some of those solo duties to help out friends or to make duoing more convenient so we no longer have to stop, disband the group, solo it, wait for the other person that might take longer because they mess up or have lower dps, and then reform the party.

You got roughly 4 and a half months before more story comes out to learn how to get good enough to beat that fight. I think you will be ok.

Please don't add party members to solo duties. SE Needs to stop catering too, and subsequently breeding / enabling bad players. You keep trying and each time you improve - this is something the game sorely lacks in the MSQ and desperately needs.

There are a number of us that aren't what I would call bad players that lose reaction time and vision sensitivity as we age. There are places in the game that it wouldn't hurt anyone or obvious elites like yourself if SE were to find a way to accommodate them. Hopefully you will come to understand this but if not 60 is a lot closer than you realize.

This. There's a few people in my LS that just look for carries all the time. My one joy is when they get stuck behind solo content and I know no one can fix their stupid. >
