Individual players owning Large Houses for personal use. Yay or nay?

I wanted a medium but it was gone so bought a nearby large house for personal use.

And yeah already had a few people give me grief cos I haven't even bothered to decorate it yet just tossed some bits inside randomly to free up space. But there's no arbitrary rule that says It must be decorated within 2 days of purchase.

Mine will probably sit as is. Until next month when i get a couple of weeks off work and might actually have some time to make some furnishings for it.

I am not talking about new homes in Shirogane. I'm talking about empty mansions that have, in some cases, been sitting like that for years.
