    On a more serious note, I would quite like some sort of Final Fantasy Tactics style mini-game baked into FFXIV. Especially if it has some neat story elements associated with it.

    Right? I feel like Squadrons being sent to help our allies in this manner would be a great way to revisit old story elements or even (optionally) keep track of side-story struggles that occur in time with the MSQ. There are many factions and groups that we help along the way only to never see them again. If we can't make an in-face appearance, I feel like sending the troops in our charge would be a nice gesture =P

    Lyse, Aymeric, Jobquest NPCs, Beast Tribes. There are a lot of different questlines we could do / re-visit with squadrons in this style.
