I got my lost allagan in 2 months, why would I want to grind for a worse weapon a month before the end of the gear cycle?

Cant edit on mobile but I wanted to reply to this. The answer to this question sort of depends on if you’re a savage mode raider and/or if you really care about stats. If you’re not a raider but want to try for the best stats possible, it might be worth your time if they let us customize the secondary stats like with the 240 anima weapon.

Now if you don’t raid and just want whatever weapon you can get? Then yeah, I agree with you.
