    As long as the current lore and Class --> Job plans stay as they are, CNJ will need at least the following abilities.
    1. Cure
    2. Curaga
    3. Raise
    4. Paralyna
    5. Poisona
    6. Silena
    7. Protect
    8. Shell
    9. Aero
    10. Water
    11. Fire
    12. Thunder
    13. Blizzard
    14. Stone

    This covers all healing magic and all the "basic" elemental spells.

    The elemental debuffs and the ancient magic elemental spells are not basic. I can see the elemental debuffs getting moved to Thaumaturge, to join the other debuffs. Just looking at their names (Drown, Rasp, Choke, Shock, Frost, Burn) and the actual effect they have (i.e. slowly draining the life out of you), I can see how the development team could move them without disrupting the flavor and lore of either class.

    Honestly, the ancient elemental magic spells should be reserved for the Black Mage job, and quested for. Their power should be adjusted upwards accordingly.

    This is all just my opinion though.

    You know what's another idea? They said that spells can have combos too... so casting water a certain way may inflict the effect of Drown.

    This would solve most the potential issue I am seeing about this 15 Actions @ lvl 50 issue I see rearing it's ugly head.

    its 15 actions from the class + up to an additional 10 from other classes and also the abilites that will become present when using a job so its more like 25-30 actions to be set at 50 most likley so a full 3 actions bars worth of stuff not just 15

    but what 15 actions will we get. first of all that means we will lose alot. second of all they said we were getting new actions too which means they are getting rid of even more. I know which ones id keep but well see.

    theyre are so many shit useless weaponskills as it is we wont miss what they remove or deem crap and we will get boost to already popular ones and probably seeing there will be less that will give them more time to focus on uniqueness of single skills and new animations for each individual skill. Thist ier 1 /2 of every single action is a waste of space. Now actions will scale w/ level and like they mentioned we will get boost to weaponskills using them w/ certain buff actions or traits equiped. this also isnt taking into account theyre will be new actions for some classes.

    This sounds like a great idea. This could be a way to introduce some unique effects as well (that were previously spells).
