If you are paying constantly there is no reason why you would do month by month, in the long run it is more expensive. Personally i think the way they did it is perfectly fine. the only problem is the players who cannot read the T&C's saying when things get shippedI get why they did it this way, but honestly, this wasn't a shining moment for them in terms of a subscription reward.
Let's plaster the campaign all over the place, oh and by the way, some of you who have been loyal subscribers from the start and have a recurring payment set up can do *nothing* to get it in September.

Except I have a 180 day subscription, and I didn't get the item because of the timing for when it renewed. So yeah, despite having a subscription set to reset every 180 days, I should be hosed because the timing didn't happen to work out for the dates they chose? Sorry, I still think it's a little unfair.

You're not hosed. You just get it at a different time like several other thousands of people. If you wanted it in September you would have followed the terms and made sure you did.

Nowhere did I say they were denying it, but yeah, of course I wanted it when it first became available.
Add a time card on my already existing subscription? Didn't even know that was possible because, well...who would ever do that? I mean, I don't think I'm being unreasonable here considering how past Veteran Rewards worked.

Lots of people do that. People load in 3 game time cards all at once to hit 180 days and bump up their numbers to get their veteran rewards ASAP. Some people would even love the opportunity to load in 1440 days just so they can get all veteran rewards.

Well hey, I learn something every day.
ITT people who can't read and can't do math.
I weep for the future.

TBH I don't even want to touch my sub considering how easy it is to get banned because of their payment vendors. It is weird they setup two separate times they are releasing the items. I've been subscribed since 2013 when afaik month to month was the only payment option. On those 1400 days subscribed...you get it after new players lol. Seems kind of weird, idk what they were thinking.Yes you can... change your recurring payment so it's not monthly and for one time only purchase 90 days or 180 days then change it back after the payment has gone through. You can't have it on the earlier date if you haven't actually subscribed for the 90 days by that point. But if you wanted it earlier, you had the means to make that happen.

How? I was at 1380 days and I got it in the first wave. If new players are subbing month-to-month, they would also get it in October. The only way they'd get it before you is if they paid 180 days at a time, or applied a gametime card after their first monthly payment in July, towards the Falcon.
You could even get it on the 30th of September with 30 days free sub on a new account by applying two gametime cards for a total of 120 days of sub time. You're going to get the Falcon in the second wave because your third payment will always happen in September, which means the first wave has already gone out, as you're paying for 30 days at a time and unfortunately not 60 days at a time.
