do you use food and exp scrolls?
I really don't know what more they can do about DPS ques. There are always going to be more DPS than Tanks and Healers. They've already implemented a number of incentives to encourage more Tanks and Healers and it's not really fair to award more XP to DPS just because there is an over abundance of them. As many have mentioned, soloing PotD is a great asset for leveling. Once you unlock Beast Tribe dailies and Hunt Marks those also award large amounts of XP with far less time and effort required than dungeons. I leveled my WHM from 50 to 68 relatively quickly doing Beast Tribe dailies and daily Hunt Marks combined with the large amounts of XP awarded by completing the weekly Challenge Log tasks. There are literally millions of XP available outside of dungeons if you take advantage of them. Certainly plenty of stuff to keep a person stuck in a DPS que occupied until it pops.
When not raiding, your FC should have a a level-2, or even better a level-3 XP buff up, and Meat & Mead II buff to extend food durations. Food should be consumed anytime there is leveling activity.
If you manage your GC squadron there is also level-3 XP scrolls you can earn weekly, which is equal to the level-3 FC XP buff.
Obviously there is the up to level 25, 30, and 50 equippable pieces that can be used to get more XP. It works even when you are sync'd to those levels.
Some people leave so much XP on the table and you have to remind them to eat food too.
I feel that it may work against your goal of making up for queue times.
Dungeon EXP getting better = more DPS queue for dungeons = queues become longer = dungeon EXP getting worse relative to other options while queues just got longer.
“There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man; true nobility is being superior to your former self.”
― Ernest Hemingway
Why should you be rewarded for playing the most populated role and clogging up duty queues?
Nah scrap that.. Shouldn't get more EXP just because you have to wait longer.. Just go do side quest fillers or FATEs while you wait for queues..
If you're trying to improve queue times for DPS then just make dungeons 5-man.. or even 6-man
1 tank / 1 healer / 3 or 4 dps..
This would significantly lower queue times in theory..
Buffing EXP wouldn't work, because more DPS players who focus on PvP or PotD would just funnel into dungeons. You know why the queues for those are good? Because they don't require tanks/healers.
Adding more tanks/healers would only solve the issue for a short time - because generally if you like to tank dungeons, you're going to play a tank.. If you don't like to tank dungeons, you're going to play a DPS or Healer.. It won't really affect how many tanks queue in, it will just shift the number of tanks that play the current tanks onto a new tank job. Will likely not see a huge influx of more tank players.
Increasing the number of DPS in a dungeon however - this would effectively let more DPS that are in the queue into the dungeon.. So the number of required tanks/healers per-DPS would be lower.

Didn't we have this conversation somewhat recently?
Okay, not exactly the same, but http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...nstead-of-tank.
Just to toss it out.

I'd prefer they actually just buff non-dungeon XP in general. Improve the efficiency of leveling via FATEs and side-quests since dungeons (and PotD) are just so much better. :-/
It all comes down to patience. Don't have patience? Either queue with a Tank or Healer or don't queue at all. Fact of the matter is too many people queue as DPS which is why their wait times are long. Sometimes not enough queue, but that's usually raids. If you give DPS an XP Bonus though more people will want to queue as DPS, making the wait times longer.
You say you're tired of hearing the response to find a FC or friends to queue with, but that is honestly the most legit answer. After all, who makes a static with strangers and remain strangers forever? You either eventually become friends or break the static :P

I totally don't want to project anything negative onto the OP but while reading that post and a few others here I had the oddest thoughts about FFXIV social justice.
Something like "tanks and healers get instaqueues so they should give a portion of their exp earned to their DPS" or even worse someone telling me to "check my healer privilege"...
It just gave me the creeps. I've felt similarly about other threads like this but this one really bugged me.
Tanks and healers are different classes. Complaining about not getting the same queue time or exp efficency as one is like me playing WHM and complaining I can't eat a tankbuster... it's silly and nonsensical. You are playing a DPS. That is a different thing. At the end of the day we all run roughly the same number of dungeons to level up, the only real difference is support roles generally have a bit more say in exactly when those dungeons start.
