Free or not, if something isn't done about the rampant wintrading, I'm done with the Feast. However many tickets I might have can just collect dust for all I care.

5 seasons of having to go out of my way to try and rank on limited personal time, and cheaters just roll right along past me like it's so easy, while any attempts to properly report them and offer what I can to help see action taken against them just gets stonewalled.

I mean, if wintrading in the Feast is taken as seriously as wintrading Lord of Verminion tournaments, then why have any of us worked so hard all these seasons?

PvP rewards aren't like seasonal events stuff, they needs be exclusive.

If you want something from the past, you need earn it with the same amount of blood that has been spilled from who got it at the time.

Token system may be useful at it, let have "top 10" token and "top 100" token currencies, and the rewards past and present can be purchased with that tokens. Top players will get just the tokens, and if you want glamour an armour of the past than the current one, buy it with them. Top 10 exclusive weaps and armor will require the "top 10" token currency of course.

Exclusive items in the current pvp format is stupid. With win trading the way it is people are essentially saying they deserve their exclusive rewards. If the system actually rewarded competition and not cheaters then I would agree with the exclusion. Even when I see the items on others, I don't think "Oh they most have worked hard for that!" instead I think "How many win trades did that take?" That sucks for the legit players but it is what it is. They should treat this like a mobile game. You get 10 and only 10 feast matches if you quit or d/c (without getting back in) it counts towards the 10. If win traders only get 10 attempts to advance and waste 1/2 trying to find their alt, they will not be making it to the top.

I think this mirrors how a lot of us feel about the current state of things. My opinion on the matter is that due to the lack of policing, the feast feels like a cheaters game. Where cheaters prosper and legitimate players are at a disadvantage.

My sentiments exactly.

I've never been top 100, not for lack of skill, but purely lack of time (and I boycotted S4 to protest the chat restriction). But I've always made honest efforts in any match I've been in.

Watching wintraders spend less time and make far less effort, let alone apply dishonest means openly because after 5 seasons they've still gone unpunished just turns me off bothering with any future seasons. That is unless I want to cheat too, which I don't.

Just get Gold and stop playing. They clearly don't care about PvP at this point. They could ban people, they could hotfix the class imbalance, they could fix the lag issues, but they don't. Only the wintraders get any benefit from their lack of vision and care. So there are your options, cheat or quit.

After 4 seasons of this disappointment, I happily choose "quit", at least with ranked. I'm looking forward to cross server custom matches that we can actually chat in. It'll be nice to play with friends from other servers and not have to worry about botting, wintrading, XP farming, or that asinine quick chat.

If they're satisfied with, or think players are truly satisfied with the state ranked Feast is currently in, then it deserves to become dead content. The idea of that as an E-sport is just laughable now.

I just hate that they are constantly referencing the idea of making it a competitive E-sport. At this point, I can't trust anything they say about PvP until I actually see it implemented in game. Their "fixes" to tournaments like Triple Triad and Lord of Verminion didn't work at all. People still cheat them, and they continue to let it happen, just as they do in the Feast. It's embarrassing, and the more they say stuff like "E-sport" and then not do a damn thing about it, the more people inside and outside the game continue to laugh and point.

You should be laughing instead - it's a very good punchline.

E-Sports is just a marketing gig. It's gonna amount to a few SE hosted tournaments at the Fanfests or similar events, with lots of sponsor advertisements to try and finance it - if that. It's a show, nothing more. If you expect more, don't.

You're taking this serious and that's already your first mistake. Not just for E-Sports but Ranked in general. You're just setting yourself up for disappointment and anger.
