I dare say the post is about both. If being broke was not a concern of OP then the post would not have emphasized that. The statement was given paragraph spacing (clear prominence) and explicative emphasis.
OP is clearly struggling with the issue of paying for the effort of levelling the DoH classes.
We (the experienced crafters) all know, levelling crafters is an expensive time and Gil commitment endeavour.
