It honestly sounds to me like you're just wasting your group's time by releasing and forcing them to wait for you instead of accepting a res. I'd have kicked you from the group as well.

the only adds that do targetable aoes on dps are the adds right before the second boss, at least thats the only pack that could plant enough aoes on one person to kill them immediately. were you in like, melee range trying to LB or something? if you got hit by 2 AoEs max, it wont kill you. hell prolly not even 3 at that Ilvl. seems like you just positioned wrong and was too close to the short distance aoe adds.
Still not really kick worthy tho, w/e. like 30 seconds wasted, no big deal

being anoying is one thing but being kicked for it is another.
I don't normally cancel raises but this was right after the boss had died wasting close to no time.
the greneral feeling i'm getting from this thrend so far is that its OK to kick people for not AOE DPSing, not DPSing as a healer, pulling too much, pulling too little which are both anoying to some degree but to be kicked for it?

I do. All the time. And live to DPS more.
I mean, what are you doing, LBing while stacked on the tank? The only time I'd ever flat out die in the middle of a caster Lb of all things is in ex boss fights.
Why don't you consider this: The problem was you, not the group.
It happens. People have off days. Did you communicate with your group? Tell them sorry for the screw ups? Don't expect everyone to just tolerate you at all times. It's unfortunate, but some people aren't as patient as others.

Well whether you like it or not is immaterial. It's a very easy mechanic to deal with as it is very clearly telegraphed. You should always dodge before you dps. Dead dps do no dps. Dying on such a simple mechanic won't make you look good. But if that was all that went wrong it would have been shrugged off.Difference of playstyles should not be considered a generic valid excuse to kick someone.
I was doing duty roulette expert on RDM (ilvl 313) last night and got Ala mhigo as a dungeon. Party consisted of tank, healer and Ninja. All was fine up to the first boss, I died due to getting hit by the front cannon while trying to avoid lock on (I don't like running around like an idiot for this attack)
Most players can forgive one death. No one's perfect. But in addition to dying on a simple mechanic you cancelled a res so you deprived the party of even more dps because you decided to run back instead of get up and hit things, then you die later from another mechanic and again do not allow yourself to be ressed thus depriving the party of even more dps...
You got kicked because you were essentially forcing the party to 3-man 4-man content.
I mean you could argue it was a difference of playstyles but your playstyle means you can be absent a lot. That's not good.
Most healers simply won't res if they can't find the time or mana to do it. If you get a res, accept it and continue the fight. Don't refuse a res and assume you're doing the healer a favour.

Taking the weakness debuff into a powerpull to save a handful of seconds that would then be lost due to reduced DPS sounds pretty dopey to me.
Those deaths sound kinda boneheaded, but not like justification for a kick.

I would like to remind people this was a duty roulette group NOT A PRE-MADE group, also the second between the 1st and second boss is normally done in 2 to 3 pulls for a DR party

If the other members of the party don't want you there the best they can do is kick you, they don't need any other excuse or justification. Also, here you did earn the kick.

I like how you're trying to push your thought about it onto other people, and ignoring what other people thought about it. A lot of people here are saying pretty much what those other people could have been thinking. And the fact that it takes 2 out of 3 people to kick you should have been a call of 'hey don't stand in stuff'....it's like staring into the sun when you know it's bad for you. Don't do it.
