It's weird to me how ERP is treated like cybering using avatars instead of telling a story about characters in an erotic fashion.
I see why people dislike it, especially when they make ERP so personal and how they indecently approach people for it.

I see what you mean, and I agree with that, in a way... the thing is, though, you're never sure of what the other person has in mind... So yeah, I think, for some, but not all ERPers, it's p*rn, and that's what's shocking, for people, I guess... There are also people that don't see the "art" in erotism and think sex is just sex... And they're somehow comforted by the few ERPers that do it in /say and are often the most... "excited" ones.
