What's up with healers not healing?

You got bad players. That is all there is to this entire topic.
Please don't clump all of us in it. Anyone can see that in SB, healing is much more needed
and there aren't much times where there is downtime to DPS. (Omega in this case.)
If you don't trust randies then bring a healy friend or two you can trust.

Heal-only healers cant even effin heal.



Just last night, I did my weekly V4 normal, and this other healer couldnt dps, nor actually keep the group alive nor keep himself alive. He died like 3 times while I kept everyone up and dpsing.
Like, its one thing if you dont dps or dont dps much....but if you cant even fulfill your primary role in this game when its the ONLY thing youre focusing on....please roll a dps.

Im a SCH, and sometimes i feel like my EOS became a lazy fuck.
I rly want the devs, to make EOS a fat and ugly woman.
But heh...its only fate, i guess.

Im rly busy with healin these days, its so stressy sometimes i smoke 6 cigarettes in a row without noticing.
And sometimes inbetween, i feel like i was the only Healer in my grp.
But in fact we are 2.

No matter what your job is, there's no excuse if you don't use 1/3 of your skills. By your logic SMN or RDM should never rez, and BRD should never Palisade or Troubadour because they are 'dps'. They are there only to attack!

Don't forget the DPS stance tanks with 4+ vuln stacks that have never heard the term "cooldown".

It's almost like the 2 healer are playing chicken with my hp bar.

Its almost like the healers are randoms, who each believe "Its ok, the other healer will get it, Ill keep DPSing" because they have zero communication.

Fun fact, Been leveling my Bard lately, Every single run where i used Palisade on the tank for mass pulls or tank busters, never get thanked for it, no one mentions it, no commendations.
But every run where i ignore it and even forget Foes? Double comms every time.
I do not understand.

To be honest, I've hardly ever experienced this. Most groups I seem to get into actually know that they have to heal instead of DPSing.

My guess though is that some healers might have become overzealous with DPSing now that they no longer need to toggle Cleric Stance to get big deeps.

Someone used this on me last night in EX.
I have not touched my brd since HW and had to look up what palisade was. Only knew they casted it because of a macro. Healers should love you for using that. 10/10 would commend every time.

Or the tanks that don't use a stance...period. Had that in a Mentor Roulette yesterday(went as RDM, got Ifrit EX...had to ask three times for the PLD to put Shield Oath on...we wiped after each one because I took agro, even with using all my enmity reduction CDs)
