You can view every actual cutscene in the game in the book. You can't view dialogue, but that's not a problem because you can escape out of dialogue. So let me spell it out for you you special little snowflake. And this is the last time I will. You, cannot view EVERY cutscene in the game, in the Unending Journey. If by chance I happen to skip a CS, that is not view-able in the Book, and am unaware that it is not there to be viewed later then I have been punished in the manner I have previously stated, and missed out on a piece of the story-line.
And my suggestion, as well as some other peoples suggestions in the thread, would remedy this entirely.
I even used italics/bold to emphasize important words to help clear it up for you.
It might take a little work to find the cutscene you're looking for, but it can be done.
@ Kaedan - Wrong, there was never an argument in the first place, because I answered your question in a polite and rational manner, as i have said multiple times now, before you ever asked it the first time. I should not have to repeatedly answer the same question because you can't be bothered to read the thread. Your response is only semi valid, as ......And lastly, as Paladinleeds said, there ARE CS's they they do not have access to post-facto.You, cannot view EVERY cutscene in the game, in the Unending Journey. If by chance I happen to skip a CS, that is not view-able in the Book, and am unaware that it is not there to be viewed later then I have been punished in the manner I have previously stated, and missed out on a piece of the story-line.

You're also completely missing the point of this entire thread. I should not be forced to skip a cutscene to avoid getting a duty abandonment strike, just because the system is set up poorly on accepting duty queues. And that some minor improvements would prevent this entire problem from [B]being[B] a problem in the first place.
This game requires that you have a weapon equipped for your class. It is what determines what class you are. They probably set it up this way as a fail-safe for people queuing into their instance without the correct weapon in their armory chest or inventory.
Can't actually remember but cant you just cancel cutscene and cancel the quest?
is this not what everyone else gets?
WHERE IS THIS KETTLE EVERYONE KEEPS INTRODUCING ME TO?
you can accept duty and after you return game will let you trigger cutscene from start.
I seem to recall some of the 60-70 WHM quests have multiple of those in a single quest, but the book only displays a single cutscene for the quest (as in, the arrows are "greyed out"). I'm pretty sure that others have reported that there are some cutscenes missing too, though don't quote me on that as I can't remember for 100% certain. That being said, if it is possible to press escape on dialogue to cancel it, it isn't very well explained at all, which I'm sure you'd agree could be problematic. I, in all my 3 years (or not far off), of playing the game, and caring for the stories, never knew this was possible.
EDIT: By "greyed out", I mean when you click them, they do nothing. Sorry, I realised I used a developer term there, so figured I'd clear up the confusion.
This isn't possible if it's a Main Scenario quest. I don't know if all the MSQ cutscenes are in the book (I think they are), but if there's an MSQ cutscene not in the book, then you'd have to resort to either a new character, or YouTube (if it's there), since you cannot cancel a Main Scenario quest.

White Mage ~ Scholar ~ PaladinBoi if you got kicked for the same thing in over 20 duties I strongly suggest you think hard on whatever the hell it is you're doing
As I'm sure you are well aware, it takes more than one person to be able to kick a player from a duty, so in all those instances there were at least two people agreeing they'd be better off without you tanking.
poor OP, i'll repeat it the 5th time.
This works only if you're on the correct job.
You can not change jobs during cut scenes. In OP's case, he was on a other job then the one he queue'd with, continuing the MSQ. This lead to his duty queue pop, but since you can't change jobs, you got only 2 options:
A) hit esc and cancel cut scene, and not all cut scenes are visible via the INN before that comes up again.
or
B) miss your queue and get a penalty after 3 times
Either case, the OP asked for a change to the current system, so that in the future that isn't an problem at all anymore. Got it? lol
