The Weekly Caps is used to keep you around, If you could get gear within 1 week they boom you're done and you unsub and wait till next patch Square loses alot of money if we just did that.

Funny because I haven't played the game for over an entire month, and even with unlimited tomes it still took me the entire launch month to gear both BRD and RDM to level 70 and geared just under 310 on both. I have no interest in obtaining EX drops of pallet swapped mounts after clearing the fights or playing the game once a week for tomes/raid gear anymore. This game desperately needs to introduce a new game type that breaks the monotony of weekly lockouts, or drop them all together.

I disagree. I like the current system and despite beeing a full fledged working person i still find time to do dailies in the evening, gear both my current lvl 70 classes and do random things like Canals, Crafting, Hunting [...]

They have been doing this since the start and it seems to work for them, tho I do believe, that the formula is a bit boring once you do it patch, after patch, after patch, but unless they come with some creative way of changing it, I doubt they will make any improvements to it.
