Stop BLOCKING us from playing the game all the time. The tomes crap is ridiculous.
People are gonna get bored whether not they cap. I don't even bother to cap some times
because it's just so boring. Endgame doesn't feel fun anymore. I'm now 70 WHM and now I'ma shelf the job
and start another because I enjoy leveling Jobs up, getting new skills, learning new rotations than:

Fight dude who looks like Kain Highwind 2139012903 times.
Fight some magic MNK 12321 times ( I barely ever get Temple in DF lol.)
Fight Yocheapo 1239012309 times.
Slap a dragon, slap an eyeball, slap Harlequinn, slap Sky blue Voidman, then be done for the week.
Lak and Brosanoo are okay for acc's but I can't be fooked with the idiotic %.1 droprates of a Dog.

The end-game is unchanged and they NEED to fix it...You don't need to be an Oracle to see what's next
on the agenda for months to come either...Just add more to keep us subbed instead of silly restrictions.

People that are vocal complain about it, which in most situations is a small part which is why generally other data is looked at other then what people directly say because you generally only hear from people who are going to complain not the ones who like, those that don't speak up or are neutral the situation. In customer service there this rule of 10% basically the idea is you will only ever heard from 10% of your actual customer base. Relying on that alone to make decisions doesn't always turn out for the better.

But you don't need a full set of capped tome gear for ex primals.
And those who do Savage while it is new don't need a full set of capped tome gear, too

Mix the gears from various sources.

MMO's are repetitive by nature and some players the best they can do is to sub for a month and enjoy the content while it's new and fresh. I keep myself subbed and play less over time but I enjoy the current formula.

I like the current system, we have frequent updates unlike wow that stayed almost an year with no update (but they seem to have learned their lesson with ffxiv now)

Even if i like it, i dislike the fact you are restricted to gear only one class...that really annoys me.

It's easier to do 1 Expert Roulette per day for 6 out of 7 days than to plug away at it endlessly trying to hurry up and get a full suit of Creation gear.

That's what I like about the 450 cap; it is so easy to get, and it keeps these tryhards from getting Full Creation on Day 2-3 while everybody else is still trying to build up for their body piece which gives me some breathing room and actual time to do things other than FFXIV, or things inside of FFXIV other than spamming roulette.

How does it give you time to do other things? If you slack off one week you're behind 450 tomes. When you don't have to worry about hitting a cap, you have more flexibility as to what you can do. You can dungeon gear farm more effectively for glamor, you can gear more classes at the same time, which in turn encourages more people to try them out, which makes dungeon running more attractive since you have encouragement to run.

When you don't have any restrictions you can go at your own pace, it's not the other way around.
