    Take 5 seconds once everyone loads in. "Healer, you ok with big pulls?"

    If they say Yes then pull away, if no then do it slow and steady. If they can't heal fast enough (often due to being undergeared) then that is that. OR if the DPS is bad that actually makes pulling bigger less effective.

    Like what do you even shave off a run by hell pulling? A minute? Two? The only reason I started doing big pulls was because my whole party outgeared the content by leaps and bounds- it was the only way to make it challenging at all. These days though, I'm barely hangin' on. Standard pulls are fine.

    I started leveling up a tank in the 61-70 dungeons( drk) Since my main is healer I can judge pretty well what healers can and can't handle. I also look at the healer's gear and party comp. All this takes a few seconds. I usually pull 2-3 packs at most. If more I tell my group hey use caster LB here as I am popping my cds and helping with AOE damage + healer aoe. Seems to be working so far.
    Can play a bit more risky with a whm, somewhat with a ast and sch just gonna play safe for now.

    When I was lvling up ast first the only dungeons I struggled healing a bit were the 65, 67 dungeons until I got some gear. Temple of the fist was rough as well.

    more like ten or five mins the first three stormblood dungeons can be done in 20 mins if everyone just got on board. Now we can sprint no tp cost if tanks like pali would freaking use TE, and everyone was doing good aoe these dungeons are way shorter than the hw dungeons by design its no reason to three add pull at all. A wipe is a good indicator u may need some better gear, I did the 65 dungeon with a shire globe (on astro) tank pulled everything of course they didnt use their invincible or do any aoe and we wiped I took the blame I went right away to get a better globe for my astro and havent had a problem sense. Big pulls teach u alot about what you can get away with three add pulls is just stalling the whole process for no reason.

Doing mega pulls and small pulls in Bardam's has seen no noticeable increase in clear time, as I clear both in 18 minutes both ways, again with frequent use of dps stance for smaller pulls.

    You could request small pulls when you enter. I was a healer main from ARR through heavensward. My outlook has always been that I will heal whatever the dungeon requires, and discuss alternative strategies should there be issues with completion.

    I don't understand why some healers believe the run should be focused around them at all times.

    Healers asks a tank for a personalized pull size tailored to the healer's enjoyment, and expects the request to be fulfilled.
    Tank asks healer to heal a personalized pull size, "no I'll just let you die if you don't do it my way!"
    Tank asks healer to contribute to dps, "you don't pay mah sub!"

    And now you're want the tank not only to comply with your request, but to go out of their way to ask you if you have one...

    regardless Im just not doing them unless we wipe its boring as hell to me personally, for me from level 15 and up big pull everything but the one shot killer bees if they arent focused down first other than that, three add pulls is always gona be second option for me personally

    well call me bad if Im poping my invincibles hg, living dead, etc on large pulls aoeing wit the dps , poping my cool downs and I dont see the healer rousing fairy , I see no regens are anythng like that then thats not my problem. Ill take the blame if I let an add get away or somethng and it attacks the healer. Other than that every pull in the game is easily healed through are if it isnt then it may let people know they need a new weapon or better gear. Are just simply a mistake and those happen and we learn from them, as a healer and as a tank I just cant stand baby pulls but if somethng goes wrong ill def switch methods but I do it my style first everytime.

    Go out of their way? It takes 5, FIVE, seconds to ask. I heal and tank and always ask. Or as the healer I usually tell them big pulls are ok. It is a single line of chat at the very start. How is that going out of anyone's way?
