Sounds like you got someone who spends far too much time on the Blue DPS forum (or a DPSer farming clusters who doesn't give a damn). It's pretty frustrating when that happens.Just rage quit my first dungeon run as a healer. Run starts (Bardam) and the tank sprints without tank Stance or Protect. Pulls two pack. The bear shows up and we wipe. I begin to ask him not to run without protect and to put on tank Stance, and interrupts me with an, "Yeah, I don't care."
Bizarrely enough, I don't care so much if someone bites off more than they can chew or aren't that good, so long as they're a good sport or own up to mistaken made (As a healer you're there to cover for mistakes, after all), but egomaniacal rudeness or an unwillingness to take criticism drives me absolutely bonkers. I can't ensuna the "Head-up-the-ass" detriment, and it's one I can't play with either.

I can't speak for all tanks, I just feel like you never win as Tank. If you pull one mob pack at a time, DPS or the healer go get more for you. You pull 2 mob packs, you're making it hard on the healer. I honestly got tired of DF healers and only tank when my GF heals. Makes things much easier. I am honestly all up for how anyone wants to play, just talk to me. If I pull 2-3 mob packs and you don't like it. Just tell me, I have no problem slowing down. IMO healers have it harder than us tanks. again this is just my opinion. But if I have two good DPS and a good healer, shit my job is easy. I'm kept healthy and the DPS burn things so fast I'm just kinda there. But in duty finder, no healer wants to say anything because idk maybe shy, scared, fear the chat box? they would rather just complain. I even started posting at the start of dungeons once "are big pulls ok" and everytime I get either "sure" or just no reply at all and I'm just like okay? I get you healers have it hard, but just use that chat box and tell the tank. Now if you guys are running into the same problem where tanks say nothing or ignore it and do what they want then idk lol.I have seen some bad tanks because I often DRG and I have seen DF tanks that just wow me, like the tank "kingfrost" is talking about. I have seen it happen. The point is, try using the chat box if you haven't it makes things easier on everyone. Tanks can't read minds and yes you healers can't either but it IS the tanks who get to decide on the pulls if you have an objection speak up.

I imagine it gets frustrating, yeah. The community appears to have multiple sets of standards for how fast you're supposed to pull, and without mind reading powers the tank is supposed to kinda guess which one it is. If you get it right, nobody says anything. If you get it wrong, people get unhappy.
What I started doing when I am levelling my Paladin is hitting a macro at the start that says something like "hi, newbie tank. If you want me to speed up, let me know." Then I'll either single pull or double pull (if it's a dungeon I can outgear). Occasionally someone does chime up, but usually people just quietly do their thing and we get clears. I dunno if they're happy with that pace, unwilling to speak up, or a PS4 user who can't type much.... but they're not complaining, so I'll take it.
On my WHM main, I never ask a tank to speed up. Ever. If you don't feel up to doing big pulls? Fine by me, I'll toss up Regen and then contribute some DPS for a fast clear. I will ask you to slow down if I can't keep you alive, but you'll know that when you die.![]()

What people need to realize, is that in a RANDOM ROULETTE with RANDOM PLAYERS, the actual run is going to be, well.....a random experience.I imagine it gets frustrating, yeah. As long as the content is getting cleared in a reasonable time-frame, and nobody's dying, I feel that people should just keep their mouths shut and stop whining. Yeah, so it takes 30-45min for a dungeon. It ain't the end of the world.
If nobody is dying, and nobody's going AFK or just standing around doing nothing, there is no real reason to complain.
DRK main here. I go whatever pace the healer wants because they're the ones I stress with mob pulls, not the DPS. If I pull too many mobs and wipe, that's my fault as the tank. I scale back. Pull less mobs. A DPS complains about it then tough luck. Be a tank. Thankfully that's rarely ever happened--most of the time (like, 95% of the time) no one cares so long as we complete the dungeon.
Why as a DPS I never say one word over mob pulls. That's between the tank and the healer, not me.
