You should find lvl 60 i148-i150 white gear at that evel.
Check node in Azsys Lla or the vendor at Matoya's cave.

Desynthesis still worth investing? I stopped around Level 120ish
Desynthesis 180 rowena craft was the best way to get glass fiber on 3.0.
Think they will make some ressources "easy" with desynthesis on 4.0 too
That's a painful spot. Dungeon drops from Fractal Continuum/Neverreap. Once you're over the hump to 180 or so, desynth the i230 tomestone of poetics shield.
If you continue on with some Adamantite i150 stuff... Apparently at a certain level, you can start desynthing the Replica Allagan / Replica High Allagan stuff. They drop from POTD en masse and are hopefully cheap enough on your server to do a chunk of them with Tinkers Bacon. They're considered three star desynths so that might help you.
Currently stuck at 200 Blacksmith Desynth. Splendor items give either no increase in skill or about a .10 increase each time and are VERY annoying to get.
Tomestone gear is also difficult to acquire. It seems like items in Stormblood also have 0.0% chance to desynth.
I honestly don't know what I should desynth to get from 200 to say, 250?
What method should I use??
Hello! I am about to level desynthesis from scratch.. still not decided which classes to pick! My main is white mage so i suppose weaver would be 1 choice for dungeon drops... i am also omnicrafter and plan to craft most things instead of buy from vendor... what about the rest 2?
Also is therr a guide or a spreadsheet that tell us how many items we will need for each level bracket. I know it cannot be a fixex number but an estimated one... like 30-40 etc..
have you tried desynthing the ilvl 200 weapons from the centurio seal vendor in ishgard? I know it might hurt to spend centurios on that but you really just need to get high enough to reliably desynth the ilvl 230 weapons for poetics. Consider trying a 230 now while using high quality bacon broth and tinker's calm. If the chance is acceptably high enough, that might just be your ticket. Also remember you can toss some cheap materia into anything that accepts materia for additional bonuses to desynth success chance.Currently stuck at 200 Blacksmith Desynth. i205 PvP gear works, but is slow for BSM since the items have higher costs than, say, belts for LTW. Be sure to meld them (the guaranteed slots at least) with crap materia.
After a few levels, you can do the extremely painful thing and use pentamelded r255 weapons while under the effects of HQ Tinker's Bacon. I don't know the math anymore since they changed things a lot, but pentamelding used to give you +25% and HQ Tinker's Bacon used to give you +15% for a total of +40%. That can bring something that's below 0% to like, 25%. I wish I had the new formulas so I could math out at what point that becomes the best way to level... I think at dSkill 205, your chance without buffs is exactly 0%, so with the above bonuses, you would have a 40% chance to desynth the r255 stuff, which isn't bad. At dSkill 200, your chances should be 27.5%, which is doable, but a little painful since pentamelding can take forever and you still have a good chance of getting nothing. At dSkill 215, that becomes a 50% chance, and from there, it only gets easier. I'd still pentameld up until your chances without pentamelding are at least 50%, but I have not done the math and don't know at what point pentamelding doesn't increase your chances enough for the cost.
If you use the above method, remember that ilvl is not the same as "rlvl" (the level of the recipe). Some i255 items are d255, but some are t258 (or whatever, I haven't done the math out). You can check by looking at the BSM crafting log - 4.0 items that are labeled as level 60 crafts are r255, and ones that are listed as level 61 crafts are r258. I think. I'm not in game right now to check.
Generally though, keep in mind how useful melding can be. A 5% increase per materia is still nice.
I need to do out the maths at some point and see if they changed the formula for 4.0 like they did when 3.0 came out. The above calculations are using the 3.0 formula.

Kinda stuck on what to level in Desynth, in ARR I got Cul to 100, but that was because I was doing a lot of fishing.
I didn't do anythign in HW, and so here I am now. Kinda unsure about the profitability ot the point of Desynthing tbh.
