Apparently something that has been recently implemented has resulted in a huge amount of Frosted Glass Lenses flooding the market. I assume it's something readily available & beneficial but those who know seem to be reluctant to help others out (great community spirit) by saying what it is. Anyone got any ideas? I know the old items that gave them but this must be either an increase in their availability (Diadem?) or something new altogether.

I did, but they're all things that have been in game quite some time, hence why I wondered if some new way to get them had been implemented. A fortnight ago there'd be single expensive lenses on the market but now they're cheap & in stacks of 99. Unless XIVdb & GarlandTools have yet to be updated with the new recipes.

I'm assuming its the Wall Lantern you can buy from your estate maidservant/butler now (along with many many many many other old furnishings that you used to have to craft). 3000 gil and easily desynthed with BSM. Still I don't see who would buy literally thousands (tens of thousands?) of these in order to flood the market with stacks upon stacks of Frosted Glass Lenses. They're good, but they're not THAT good, and the lantern will long since be useless for desynth leveling before you even get a couple stacks of Frosted Glass Lenses. It's still baffling to see that many frosted glass lenses from one person no matter what the method of acquisition. Nobody wants 99 Frosted Glass Lenses.

GSM desynthsis 176. Been doing Griffin Talon Needles iL150 from Azys Lla. Down to .03 skillups and the PvP iL180 is still at 60% with tinker's bacon.

Is there any bridge desynthissis between the two other than the iL170 crafting and gathering accessories? Even something for scrip?

Whats the best/a good item to get Fieldcraft Demimateria III out of

If your desynthsis skill is high enough I got a BUNCH of FC III from those Griffin Talon Needles, 1 - 3 when they fell. I think I ended with almost as many FCIIIs as desynths I did.

So when you meld materia on an item for desynth what does the success % go to? I hate Archaeoskin Belts that just fail. Is there also a better materia level or just the lowest possible will work? I am LTW

at what desynthesis LTW skill are you ?

Can anyone confirm 250 is max? Strangely, when I desynth 245 (filibuster gear) its only 70%. I would've thought it would be 100% if it were maxed.

Also, any word on when it will be raised / when we can desynth diabolic gear (dun scath). My inventory is getting full.
