    Buff ruin 4 potency 200-->250 '( ruin 4 proc is very rare '' 2 time per minute +-)
    buff dot potency 40--<50 for miasma 3 and bio 3
    change devotion 5%-< 10%
    pet healing '' rework physic just for healing the pet,
    and summoner is fine .

    Fine? Do you guys don't ever think about consequences of your suggestions?
    If our "top raider summoner" eirene snow is doing like 4k on ex primals now, then what dps he'll start doing with 200 potency ruin3?
    And on top of overboosting smn dps with more powerful r3 and dots you want 10% buff for devotion?
    I mean.. let's be reasonable here. (we waited until 3.2 for r3 buff from 120(!) potency to 200 btw)
    Not to mention this changes nothing about smn 4.0 flow problems or punishing mechanics or clunky unresponsive pets.

    I dont think summoner will mechanically change before 5.0. We can just get some potency changes or option hide bahamut. Pet have been this way since 2.0 so I wonder why ppl start suddenly complain about pet. You have to adapt changes how it is now.

    Yeah true but Angry is right pot buffs wont solve the real problem it would just ne kind of hotfix for the majority to feel better on the first view- the punishment and gap between top tier player and the casual avg would still remain. They could change mechanics like in pvp that would be more on the way to solve the clunkyness but than again balancing would still be a question.

    Because, obviously, of contagion changes. Before as long as dumb garuda casts it somewhere during DOTs duration it was more or less fine. But now when you actually need to line up your CDs etc. with bahamut, garuda refusing to cast contagion - means you don't summon bahamut in time, means all your lining up is screwed up etc. It's just.. eh...
    But you are right, they didn't change it since 2.0(which is also infuriating) and I wouldn't bet they do anything about it now.

    I think also AscendantManes ideas might work for a start locking out that you can waste stacks could be a way as well - the solving is not to just raise burst potecy that wont change a thing on the long term.

    I pretty much agree that SMN had such awful changes made to it and got new skills that didn't really make up for any of it. I'm only level 64 right now so I can't give a full opinion yet but the current changes that irked me the most was the change in Aethertrail Attunement and Aetherflow not stacking anymore, the Ruin III nerf and especially the Bane nerf.
    The Aetherflow changes just made the job more punishing than it is, and I did like using Aetherflow abilities during DWT to take advantage of the magic buff. Now that's not possible.
    Also I think they should make Ruin upgrade to Ruin III, have a bit more MP cost than Ruin II and increase its potency from 150 to 180 in DWT instead of reducing MP cost. Ruin IV's potency can remain 200 or increase to 230 honestly. Right now I think the Ruin spells aren't impressive even with Ruination.
    It takes some getting used to but hopefully SE realises that SMN is the most punishing job to mess up on so they didn't fix the problem.

    I'm holding out a sliver of hope they finally SWITCH SMN's weapon to a whip. Let SCH have the books, but for lore purposes, I still feel they need a whip. Just me though. =D
