Will physick be changed to match vercure?

So with RDM getting an INT based heal, will physick be changed to INT on SMN and ARN? It's entirely possible for them to do this since SCH DoTs are being changed to MND. With the loss of sustain, having a decent heal for both ourselves and our pet seems like a reasonable trade off.

A heal from my SMN to my pet would be nice if I need to do it. Currently my work around was going to be pet placement but that could run into the micro managing road I don't want to go down.

I personally will say mind, because even though we get the heal prior to being a healing job (from ACN to SCH) we get synced down to that level and will need it. Then again are cures required to be that powerful at those levels? No idea...

I'll throw my vote in for Mind but it's a very good question so I won't argue INT.

RDM gets is to make their utility unique and it fits in with the theme of RDM being able to use white and black magic. People have tested physick and shown it's still weak on SMN.

While I'm as tired of those threads as anyone, I've never seen them take an issue with clemency,, or the more recent vercure, etc. Why do you suddenly think they would care about this?

Personally I dont think it should, but I do think the base MND of a SMN could be slightly higher, for a smaller increase to Physick.
But I also think Vercure should be higher than a SMN Physick.

As for the exact difference, I wouldnt know, maybe 40-50% of what a RDM could cure for.
But then again, they should have kept their pet heal.

There was no real reason to take out Sustain. The only thing I can think of is that pets will be made immortal.

That being said I see no reason why it shouldn't be INT based when the SMN soulstone is equip. That is a pretty easy programming change.

I disagree. Vercure and Physick should heal for similar amounts - RDM uniqueness is Dualcast which effectively would make Vercure twice as good as Physick.

Each role has their uniqueness.

RDM can heal/dps, but their AoE is atrocious. 100 potency AoE and one 45 sec 300 potency AoE.

SMN can tank with Titan, and has supremely good AoE

Titan can't tank very long with the removal of sustain. Anyways, recent translated interviews imply that it won't be making the change to INT scaling. It's rather unfortunate that the "purging and reworking of useless skills" will be a bit short sighted. At least we kept Tri-Bind guys!
