It's a couple minutes out of an hour, and then you can go and do other stuff before the next available time.

Also, like me, SE probably expects that you won't hoard materials outside of the really annoying, rare, or tough to get items (of which there aren't enough to fill a single retainer, much less 8) and go and get the items when you need them, since most of them are very easy to get.

Ya'll are just being bloody lazy and wanting to hold on to everything you might maybe possibly need someday, and then whining when you can't do that, and expecting SE to bow to your whims.

It's really that simple.

I'm kind of curious what your average day is like, and how much free time you have o.o. That notwithstanding, this is not at all a common issue in other MMOs, especially not subscription-based ones.
