Are you doing it for achievement or ranking? If ranking after floor 51 you should be able to restart from 51 and still be able to go trough floors 100+. Solo is fun and right now I would suggest avoiding solo PotD do to it being unstable do to being a mayor hot spot until things cool down a bit. Too many people grinding jobs and farming it seems. Also if it's the forced logout, they warn you an hour before, don't blame them for your lack of planning.

Are you sure you get that warning while you are in? I see a number of notifications are missed when in potd, and I'm sure didn't see any red blood line while playing. Maybe a server problem then. My conn was working great and not likely a fault on my side.

As you suggested, better avoid such playing while servers are hammered. Maybe will retry next month, don't wanna get other experiences like that now.

I was in a party around the time of the notification , usually around 11am pst is when it affects my server and have gotten it in various time in dungeons and once in PotD. Stopped playing PotD to get 50-60, because people kept dcing on me. But pretty sure they do.

Clear the 1st through the 100th floors of the Palace of the Dead solo and record a score on floor 101 or below. for achievement.

Wrong, it says even on the achievement you have to go from 1-200, you can't restart at 51, it wouldn't count.

Yes for the achievement you need to run from floor 1 but if you only want to go further than floor 100 you can start at floor 51. It still bad with the 0 death count because even those floors take a long time and everything can be undone thanks to a DC..Lets not talk about a DC after you finally managed to get beyond 100.
