reset potd ko when kicked out by the server

I've nothing against any method for alleviate server congestion, but if you kick me out the potd solo, at least please reset my KO.

Doing it solo from floor 1 to 200 require hours and even days, and it is not so much funny being kicked out halfway to see all the time spent gone void because you have to reset because the KO.

If this will become true, I just can imagine loads of people faking disconnects when things are to go bad, but if the server decides to kick you out, he knows he is the one doing it, at least in that occasion make the reset.

Are you doing it for achievement or ranking? If ranking after floor 51 you should be able to restart from 51 and still be able to go trough floors 100+. Solo is fun and right now I would suggest avoiding solo PotD do to it being unstable do to being a mayor hot spot until things cool down a bit. Too many people grinding jobs and farming it seems. Also if it's the forced logout, they warn you an hour before, don't blame them for your lack of planning.

Are you sure you get that warning while you are in? I see a number of notifications are missed when in potd, and I'm sure didn't see any red blood line while playing. Maybe a server problem then. My conn was working great and not likely a fault on my side.

As you suggested, better avoid such playing while servers are hammered. Maybe will retry next month, don't wanna get other experiences like that now.

I was in a party around the time of the notification , usually around 11am pst is when it affects my server and have gotten it in various time in dungeons and once in PotD. Stopped playing PotD to get 50-60, because people kept dcing on me. But pretty sure they do.

Clear the 1st through the 100th floors of the Palace of the Dead solo and record a score on floor 101 or below. for achievement.

Wrong, it says even on the achievement you have to go from 1-200, you can't restart at 51, it wouldn't count.

Yes for the achievement you need to run from floor 1 but if you only want to go further than floor 100 you can start at floor 51. It still bad with the 0 death count because even those floors take a long time and everything can be undone thanks to a DC..Lets not talk about a DC after you finally managed to get beyond 100.

I was ready to make a post about palace of the death and DC but found yours so I will post this here instead.

Really SE, how should one be able to do PotD solo if your servers are so unstable? I managed to get my solo title (1-100+) before SB but it was already with lots of sweat and curse words. I am alright if I make a mistake and hours of work is gone but I am more than pissed if my hours of work is gone because the server kicked me.

And I am not talking about the log out feature because that was at least always on the same hour. I am talking about servers messing up and kicking you. Yesterday when I tried PotD from the beginning I had a DC in the lower floors...so since I already have my solo title I thought that I might start from 51 instead..today I tried it and was kicked four times! None of those times were because of my internet, all of those were the server..

If you are kicked from the server you not only lose any exp and treasure you got but just one DC (even on floor 100) will take away the chance to get further than floor 100. How am I a able to go for the new title and test my strength if I cant reach that part of the game thanks to your unstable servers? How is that in any way fun? You are completely down to RNG and just have to hope the whole time to not get a single DC. And we talk about hours..

Either you have to make it so that one can still go further than 100 with a certain amounts of "deaths" or you have to find a way so that we do not lose our instance right away thus we can join back in. Its really annoying having to do 10 floors again if you are kicked but its way more annoying to have to start from 51 again..(and if you are wanting the old solo title..this means having to start from 1 again)

That means, taking a break from potd until the hype for the expansion will fades and servers goes more reliable. Days/weeks of effort killed by a dc is something you don't want.
