    The game has some serious bad coding (and outdated servers). It is preventing so many good features, fixing it is not as easy as people expect. They would have to go through a lot of changes in order to make a simple change.

    As long as it's something that would benefit people, it's always worth asking for. Rewriting bad code is a hassle (believe me, I know, I have to clean up bad legacy code all the time at work), but that doesn't mean it's not worth doing.
