I think the point is more that this is a rather silly way to proceed. Why do 5 times what we could do once ? Of course it's not a querstion of time...
You don't need to take such a condescending tone, it's not like you don't understand the matter at hand...

The excuse of "too much stress on the servers" doesn't work, as it's more stress on the servers when the player has to perform fourteen times the number of inputs to accomplish the same task as it's currently designed.
Why am I not surprised that someone who uses the Hitler mustache is snarky and disrespectful.

Hey hitler also had hair...you have hair...i guess you support racism.
See how stupid that argument is?
I can't comprehend how you typed that out and still thought it was an ok thing to say.
On topic, its a small quality of life imporvment but i'm not going to cry if they never implement it..i don't carry much anyway.

I'm confused why people need to repair more than what they have on in the first place. This has never been an issue to me.

Maybe they're switching between multiple classes/jobs and the first repair all is only for currently equipped items. So if you do something in one job, quickly switch to another and do something else, both jobs end up with damaged gear.
It's not that annoying, but as a person leveling a new character and trying to do the hunting log for all classes I have (the 3 starter magic ones) and do my gather logs at once, I do a lot of switching in a single area. I personally don't mind doing the 5 repair alls needed and think devs have more important things to take care of (like fixing that chocobo AI) and this QOL adjustment would end up minor, but I can understand why some people would want it combined.
However I don't buy the excuse given by SE that it'd cause anymore of a server issue than someone doing all of them in quick succession, espectially considering they were able to figure out how to handle the server load for more inventory space and that's something that hits up server data loads far more intensively. I'd rather they just say it's not a priority for them at the moment.

They won't remove durability so long as it's serving its purpose as a gil sink.
