I just wanted to create this thread in hopes that someone looks into an issue where people are "camping" The Lochs waiting for Ixion to pop.

Not being able to join this zone is hindering my progress in the storyline and also my advancement in gathering collections. I've been trying off and on to enter this zone for almost an hour and I can see others in shout chat are also experiencing this issue.

I'm on the Excalibur server.

Perhaps we could re-initiate the instances for this zone until enough people have their mounts to the point where the zones aren't constantly being camped 24/7?

EDIT: Someone else brought up a good point... They made it so the Foxy Lady fate gives 15 items for Gold Completion, which gives you enough of the currency to buy ALL of the items and some... I don't see why they couldn't have done a similar thing for Ixion.

It's been like that on Hyperion for at least two hours. Yes, they need to re-instate instancing for The Lochs.. with how infrequently the fate spawns it's going to be like this for quite a while. It's totally unfair for players who haven't finished the main story, and while less pressing it would certainly be nice to hit the collectables in there.

They should stop having big FATEs.

I mean, you need some item from a map to lower ixion's shields or something, yeah? Why not just make it like a pop item instead? Have force popped hunt-style mobs instead of big dumb fates that never pop. Then it becomes content you can do with your FC/LS/PF instead of content you sit around waiting to do and being mad about and ruining entire zones for.

I agree, was thinking about this last night, if a Zone can't handle the hype of a Big FATE, then they need to change up how it works.

An idea that came to mind, which would in turn add incentive to doing FATEs even after hitting level up is adding something like, "Fragments of FATE". A currency which drops for a few hours after a World Boss has been defeated, it would be able to drop in any of the "Zones tied to that Expansion" for said World Boss, so an Ixion item would be able to drop in all SB zone FATEs, a Behemoth one would drop in all ARR FATE.

Basically you obtain a set amount of fragments and with you and 24 others you would have the opportunity to tackle said World Boss as an instance fight, items consumed upon entry(Much like old school Primals in 1.X series"

I feel with this, the rarity of the World Boss would remain, the congestion would die down and honestly, the difficulty of those bosses would be regained. Actually offer players an opportunity to have a chance to do an instance of the fight and I"m certain people would be up for it, you just gotta give them a chance.

Even the night before the maintenance which removed instances, all 3 zones were packed with people killing Ixion...

That's 300 people per zone.

I think instances should be brought back at least till most every one has most jobs to 70.

Hyperion server is completely full too.

I can't get in to mine or harvest items, and my friend can't get in to continue his MSQ.

Thanks, SE. Good to see you haven't learned a single damned thing in the past 4 years. People started camping this zone at least 12 hours ago, and it's been completely full with people rarely getting in for at least 3 hours now.

Was gonna type out a sarcastic, long-winded response taking a jab at SE's lack of foresight, but I'm too tired.

I just feel bad for anyone who's leveling and has to go through The Lochs only to be blocked because Ixion's spawn window is now opened.

Way to go SE, it would've just been smarter to tie it to multiple areas or make it spawn more often so that people aren't so desperate for it.
