I don't know if it's serious or trolling... but I'll bite regardless.
Tanking in DPS stance with STR accessories with healers you don't know is asking for trouble because you expect their reaction time to be higher than almost all pure strangers' are. But the reason the STR meta happened in the first place is because people were looking for ways to get things done even quicker (in Gordias Savage's case, it was to get things done at all). People have proven it can work... under the right conditions. What got out of hand is that the (very) vocal minority made it look like it was supposed to be done all the time no matter the conditions and if you weren't doing things "the only good way", you're automically "bad".
But whether you tank in tank stance with VIT accessories or in DPS stance with STR accessories (or anything in between), simply using your enmity combo is doing it wrong. Ever since Stormblood launched, as I did leveling dungeons, I stayed in tank stance, and even as I was doing Omega Normal yesterday, I didn't need to use a single Halone combo if I tanked in tank stance, unless I tank swapped on Exdeath to solidify hate. Our boost to enmity modifiers are that good, really. They even were decently good in Heavensward, as the reason I even used the Halone combo in tank stance actually was more because of the debuff than actual enmity generation.
Now, as people are worried that the DPS gap will widen over the expansion because tanks simply get VIT on their accessories, I'm not worried one bit because :
1- It was exactly like that in ARR and it never happened. Why would it be different now? Sure, our numbers got bigger but has the actual proportion widened between ARR and SB? No, it did not.
2- It was announced that there would be adjustments come patch 4.05... in...two...friggin'...WEEKS. Could we at least wait until that time before panicking?
But since the debate has been going since patch 3.0, about two years ago, I'm not expecting people to stop anytime soon.
