Teleport prices are too exensive

Set your home point to Rhalgr's Reach or Kugane, and then use the Free Destination on the other one. Those two points are going to be the ones you teleport to the most for a lot of things, and teleporting to either will cut the cost of the outlying areas by a huge amount.

If you set the home point to these two then it's more expensive to travel to the other regions. Better to set the home point to Gridania so it is cheaper getting around to Ishgard, Limsa and Ul'dah.

I personally hate doing it this way though, I just wish more gil were awarded for completion of quests or at least drop trash items from trash mobs so we can accrue more gil for teleportation dumps.

(You also dont need even close to 200 million for a house - mansions are at around 60 million or so now, small homes are down to 3 or 4 million! Even without crafting you can get that kind of money!)

When housing first released, small plots were 15-20 mil, mediums were 45-60ish, and large plots were 250+mil on balmung.

You may have noticed that its been quite a while since then - 87,500,000 is the most you're paying on your server now and thats for a first class large plot.

No, my point was, Ama said pricing needed to increase. If it went up to housing launch prices, only hardcore crafters could afford them, no one else could. And i got the hell off Balmung cuz it was overcrowded. Free transfer was nice.

Ama also happens to be a hardcore crafter. Coincidence?

While I dislike paying the fees. It brings immersion to the game and I like it. It's unrealistic that from Eorzea to othard that it could be a little amount of Gil to pay. However I do understand. I'm trying to save for a home and every little bit matters

Paying Gil for teleports is leagues better than the Anima System that charged so slowly you'd probably use it all up in 1-2 days and forever be Anima-Starved due to how long it took to charge.

The reason we have housing shortages is because one person can buy multiple with alts, one FC and one personal per character. It SHOULD be one house per account, not character, with houses account wide.

Or at the very least one house per server. The only problem is that dummy Free Companies can still dodge this restriction. I know people use Dummy FCs because I know an FC that owned 6-8 houses in the Beds or Goblet, each of them owned by a 3-4 man FC with the same tag and similar name as the original FC.

Set your free teleport on one continent, and your home point on the other. Teleport to that place first, then where you want to go after that.
