i don't think the players should hold off anything, because if they don't complain SE won't know something is wrong with the job
the only way the players can get SE moving is by not playing the job and complaining, that works in the past so it will definitely works again in the future

Because too many of you are looking at the new abilities as if they were a stand alone ability or only tie into 1 other thing. It's like back when Heavensward hit and Dragoon got access to Blood of the Dragon. For 15 seconds, it boosted damage on it's jumps. Then you got fang and claw...which allowed you to extend the time on BotD as well as giving Dragoon access to a 4th tier combo, which improved the initial usefulness of BotD. My point being is that as you level and unlock more abilities, the way the previous abilities are used slowly change and the shape of the job changes. Their overall utility changes and you start to see how it's skills tie together. Just unlocking a single ability that has no direct ties, or limited use, is very VERY rarely a game changer.

yeah that's cool and all, but doesn't change the fact those abilities WAR got aren't very good and aren't very useful unlike what PLD got
so it is easy for you to say it since your job are in the much better position than WAR is

But we can agree on one thing: this is not a real gap closer. Also: I'm not even asking for it to do the same damage, I'd be happy with half the damage (as it stands now) if it didn't cost BG. If it's going to cost BG, it better do some decent damage, though.

My complaint is due to the opposite. If this was entirely stand alone, I would be fine, but by costing BG, it is not stand alone, it will always be something that upon use, steals from your potential damage for very little or no gain.

BTW, I have worked on MMO development, obviously not this game. At least me personally, I rather listen to feedback from day one than tell anyone to shut up until I am done taking my 30 day post-launch nap.

I´m always confused about people like you. First its people should wait till they´re 70 after that its wait till you have touched a Raid. Whats after that? Wait a bit longer. You dont need all of that, you can just look at the skills read them and know its just bad
