There's use of Onslaught.
Aside from the obvious gap closer which can avoid losing a GCD, I also find use of the still to manage your beast gauge in preparation for the next berserk.
You can use it to burn you gauge when you want to switch stance and waste less gauge in the process (i.e. use it to empty you gauge then switch stance).
Also, if your berserk is about for be back up but burning 50 gauge would delay your berserk burst by many gcd, you can spend 20 now (assuming upheaval is on CD) for a little ogcd potency so than you get back to 100 when zerk is back and don't delay the burst.
I believe both upheaval and onslaught are tools to min/max dps and align full gauge with berserk.
If you're in defiance, the potency isn't terrible compared to the BG cost vs inner beast, it also has the effect of increased enmity. So if I find I'm in a situation where I want to tomahawk I'll pop this too for an extra enmity and dps boost.
As someone above posted, it can be a tool to help keep your BG value where you want it to time berserk with your FC's and infuriate.
I've found it handy for zooming around the arena to dps down the things that need the quick dpses, like the adds on the last boss of shisui of the violet tides.
I'm almost lv 67 but what I have been doing is butcher's block into onslaught switch stance then build 100 gauge and go into my berserk rotation.
I only do this for boss or single target pulls. For group pulls i use berserk with 2 or 3 steel cyclone depending on my groups dmg(how fast they are generating enmity)
I really wish the skill used Mana instead of Beast Cauge. Lore wise we shouldn't even have Mana but it's there and doing absolutely nothing.

Its a joke because it produces the same enmity as Tomahawk, costs 20 beast gauge and is also weaker than Tomahawk itself. You also can't use it on pull since you can't Infuriate outside battles. The only plus side to this move is in PvP but in PvE its too niche to be of any use as Tomahawk does literally the same thing. The only thing going for it is that it doesn't interrupt combos but its still really bad atm.
Singe I got it I have used it once just to see how it looks and cry over how useless it is.
The cost is way to high for what it does with it costing 20 beast gauge AND being on a 15sec recast, so in beast it cost 40% of a fell cleave while having 20% of that skills potency, even it we look at inner beast this skill cost again 40% of it and has around 28.6% of that skills potency all the while inner beast also heals you and add to your mitigation.
If they want me to use this skill they have to increase the potency or make it cost 0 beast gauge.

Didn't forget as much as I didn't notice that mechanic, as I said, only gazed at the job. But all this tells me is that the SAM gap closer is also terrible. It sounds like higher DPS to not attack for about a GCD worth of time than to waste resources rushing in, for both jobs.
