22.7gb update after relogging?

Has anyone gotten any answer from square Enix about the launcher problem? This glitch is no fucking joke, this is my 3rd time redownloading this thing. Square Enix must think I have a hella fast internet, but I've spent so far my time in early access playing a download simulator.

It's a patch-launcher recognition error. It's a simple fix in theory, but not so implementing it. Just keep reporting issues, with more than just complains.

Knowing it's a PS4 issue is great, as is losing power seems to be an issue.

Having the same issue on my PS4. Had a power cut whilst playing, try to log back in and get hit with a 22.7GB download file. Trouble is my download speed averages at 0.2MB/s and is currently at 0.02MB/s (though it started to go this slow after turning my PC on so that'll be going off soon). Was said to be 1300 minutes remaining when I had 15600MB left of download at the 0.2MB speed, so at this rate, I doubt I'll be able to play in the next day or two; so much for early access. Hope this doesn't happen again when I next log off, kind of worried to even go off the game at this point but my PS4 has been on almost non-stop for three days trying to download everything.

I hope they aren't neglecting the console users. This is my 3rd time for the 3rd day redownloading this 22.7mb. And I haven't seen anything from SE trying to resolve this issue.

I am also having this issue. Also on PS4 (not PS4 Pro, if it makes a difference?) Had a power outage earlier and now saddled with this 22gb update. It's been approximately 6 hours with another 183 minutes to go.

Any feedback regarding this issue?

Too scared to switch off my ps4 now. This early access has been very stressful.

Edit: I have never had this issue before, since playing ARR beta and early access all the way through HW. Even though I had power outages while playing the game.

I really wish they'd fix this. I am gonna have to never turn off my PS4 or stop playing FFXIV now to avoid this and that doesn't account for power outages.

Same problem here, 22.7GB Update after a power outage, yesterday I was about to finish went the power went off again, and again, 22.7GB SQUARE please give us information in the issue, this is upsetting.

How has everyone's power gone out before this happened? I had my PS4 in rest mode overnight, woke up and it was off even though my sis' PS4 in the same room was fine, though she turned it off overnight. She didn't have this update and was able to just sign in. This seems fishy to me... Maybe being connected while in rest mode, the update ping caused the system to crash. But then why wouldn't it affect one that's all the way off? This isn't right.

The problem is not the power. There is ppl here telling that even only loggin off trigger the redownload. I'm afraid of just closing the game and turning off the ps4 and have to download all over again. =/
