If I purchase an airline ticket and the airline has overbooked preventing me from making the flight, telling me to try again later or find something to do at the airport does not make it right.Compensation for what? I played the MSQ up to the wall of Rauban. I've run a couple dungeons, I did a crap load of random quests, I added 2 new classes and finished their starter quests. I finished my Bard starter quest. And I finished a step on my mostly useless at this level anima weapon, and i need one aether oil pot to finish another. And I did some beast quests. I don't feel like I lost much. The MSQ will be there later and eventually it will work.
I totally understand where you're coming from, but that's a really bad example because airlines literally do that all the time.
Who's to say we won't be too? Granted, I don't think we will, but it's entirely plausible that once the issue is solved we're given some free play time. Like I said I totally see his point regardless of the example.
