I'm sure there have been but a majority of the truly big mmos have had these problems out the gate or expansions. Although half-annoyed by them when it happens... least it tells me there's going to be plenty of people to play with for a while >.>

We will try to sound more like your generation:There's not going to be compensation you darn rooting tooting millennials.
Back in my day there used to be things like this happen all the time and you never saw us-
Nope, nvm. There's always been these threads. Still just as silly as when I first saw em though.
Relax. Enjoy it for what it is. These things are to be expected with mmos
"You're different from me; therefore inferior!"
"I don't see what these computers are all about. Back in my day we didn't have computers and we got along just fine"
"______ these days is much worse than in my day!"
"<Insert reference/saying most ppl don't understand>"
I DEMAND compensation for my soiled eyes from reading posts such as this!
Cheers,
D.
Compensation for what? I played the MSQ up to the wall of Rauban. I've run a couple dungeons, I did a crap load of random quests, I added 2 new classes and finished their starter quests. I finished my Bard starter quest. And I finished a step on my mostly useless at this level anima weapon, and i need one aether oil pot to finish another. And I did some beast quests. I don't feel like I lost much. The MSQ will be there later and eventually it will work.

Crippling problems? I wasn't aware the rest of the game was unplayable just because you're having a hard time accessing a few MSQs less than two days into Early Access. It's an annoyance, to be fair, but we're vastly over-exaggerating how bad it is. Could SE have handled it better? 'course they could've. But all this talk about compensation and cancelling subscriptions over a minor, temporary problem is the height of hilarity and overreaction.
And every MMO, fresh or seasoned, always has some kind of problem during big patches and expansions. It's par for the course. There's no such thing as a flawless launch where everything goes perfectly and not a single player experiences a problem.
With this character's death, the thread of prophecy remains intact.
So I didn't buy the game at least 4 days earlier because of the perk of accessing the servers 4 days earlier? Oh good, and here I thought that was exactly what I did. Thank goodness you were here to correct me!

If I purchase an airline ticket and the airline has overbooked preventing me from making the flight, telling me to try again later or find something to do at the airport does not make it right.Compensation for what? Are we? Because last time I check, I'm playing for a game that kinda sorta doesn't work like it should and honestly, I'm sick of all the excuses. "Meh, it happens, just calm down!" Oh, word? Just calm down?
I kept up my end of the bargain. I gave them my money. Where they at?

I demand compensation for the late arrival of this thread ! I wanted to be amused much earlier than this ! This is unacceptable !

I totally understand where you're coming from, but that's a really bad example because airlines literally do that all the time.
