The power difference between PS4 and PS4 Pro is substantial. The frame-rate difference would most definitely be noticeable to the naked eye without an FPS counter, just like it's noticeable to me when I play on my girlfriend's weaker Mac computer rather than my gaming PC.

Now if the OP was claiming that it's 53 FPS instead of 60 FPS, I'd agree - a tool is needed. They aren't. They're claiming there's no noticeable difference. If we take the OP at their word on that, then there's absolutely something wrong with the patch.

That is not the point. The point is that you need tools AND comparing the same situation. I'm quite sure he's not digital foundry, and I'm quite sure the situation at launch of a major expansion is not the same as 10 minutes beofore.

I guess the "you don't know how MMOs work" is the case here. MMOs have a much less predictable number of models on screen, which leads to much less predictable frame rate.

Again, you don't need a tool to notice a big frame drop, nothing to do with MMO's. If I have to guess it's pretty simple, PS4 Pro can't handle overcrowded areas. But for sure all instanced content will run at 60 FPS.

Which is entirely predictable, and anyone that thought the contrary, had no idea of how MMORPGs work.
