Final Predictions: Who shall die in 4.0

That said, one scene with Gotsetsu and I immediately thought, "How long till you die horribly?" Since the last time we got a great Roe NPC, Moenbryda, she died one patch later. And Gotsestu is a bubbly, hornorable guy (like Haurchefant) and an old, grizzled veteran. I think he's doomed.

I'm not biased about character looks, but I know that non-kawaii characters get the axe or villain status fast. Old people don't count but something something gotta pass of a billion years of knowledge. This isn't always true, like the Chrono Trigger cast. But that was in the 90's. Everyone was dumpy.

Gosetsu is currently so useless for the Story that I completely wouldn't care if he dies. So he make a bad sacrifice.

On the other Hand, Moenbryda...hmmm... I had now to google her Name for 5 minutes, because I couldnt even remember it. She was absolutely no sense and I didn't care about her, yet she was sacrificed for Story. So Gosetsu could be the same.

What is more, the SB-Trailer shows a yet-to-be-named Samurai who seems to be very important. So if he takes the "Samurai NPC"-role, Gosetsu would be again useless and a good Story sacrifice.

More important than who's gonna die is for me, if Urianger will change his Outfit back to the Warrior of Darkness-Attitude. He looked 10 times more cooler and since all other members have changed appearence during HW, I couldnt believe that he changed back in his ultra ugly ultra lame Outfit again!

Be funny and actually a big deal if they killed the WOL - your character-. But instead of a gameover your soul has to go thur hell - dungeons- to get your body back. This does one of a few things.. one, it gives us a REAL reason to this force to be awed with. Pretty much makes us awesome in story instead of being awesome just in gameplay while we're some kid watching shit in story. Two like seriously. How hype would that be if you're killed? Makes the villain THAT much of a badass and when you come back, better, stronger, and pissed makes YOU that much more amazing.. and it'll happen within the actual plot instead of just gameplay. Three... cause the WOL needs to do something awesome within the storyline and not just be awesome in gameplay. Make us feel like the WOL.

Um yeah, there is only one Problem: The Warrior of Light is not cool. He really isn't. SE constantly fails to make him looking cool. With HW I changed him into an badass looking au'Ra. He Looks big, strong, carrying a huge sword and could be badass in Person.

But then, in every cutcene he Looks like an complete idiot. Smiling like he has an IQ on ground-level.

I remember that cutcene with the stolen goods, where SE basically mocked my character. Because it was so crystal clear ("crystal" haha, because of the Crystal warriors who were traitors) that they were tricked. But my character did like: "WOOOW! I didn't see THAT comming! Shock!"

You're right, but that's why they need to MAKE us kool instead of being the " ooooh things are happening" person we are in the story. T.T

Yeah having the PC do something cool is needed, but dying isn't cool and I'm fairly certain that would end up pissing off a lot of people. I would say have the PC do something more along the lines of something similar to the Battle of 1,000 Heartless in KH2.

Nanamo not dying from poison might have been a hint that Rogue/ninja will ditch the poisons in Stormblood.

The Warrior of Light is going to die in 4.0, because the fact that everyone's starting to overly rely on the Warrior of Light has been hinted on time and time again. What is the world going to do without its champion?

Of course, the death wouldn't be permanent, because, hey, Warrior of Light. But think of all that could happen in the WoL's absence. Like, say, another Calamity, this time in the East.

You mean Hien?? He's the prince of Doma! He's apparently going to eventually be Doma's GC equivalent (like Aymeric became to Ishgard), if theory proves.
